Joy and her husband, John, raised their four children in Newberry and so they are familiar with the outstanding public schools in Newberry. Hillary was born in Gainesville and graduated from Newberry High. She went on to college in Orlando and graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2008. She and her husband, Daniel, have one daughter.
